The new, jagged mountains, the glaciated rock, the valley *shudder*
I'm obviously not scared of that dream anymore, fascinated more than anything, but it's a really strange experience to witness something in real life after having dreamt it, especially from so long ago.
About a year ago, I had a vivid dream of me lying in bed in a room I'd never seen before, but it had all of my belongings in it. I got up (in my dream) and walked slowly around the room, inspecting every detail. When I woke up, I mentioned it in my dream diary, simply because it was so realistic!
About four months ago, my family had to unexpectedly move. It was entirely out of the blue-I thought I was going to be living there for at least another 5 years. I picked my bedroom after looking at the floor plan, and when it came time to unpack everything in the new house (which I was only seeing in person for the first time) I asked the movers to put my furniture in my room wherever they thought was best. I'm sureyou can tell were this is going...
well, my first morning there, I woke up and looked around my strange room with a massive sense of dejavu. I immediately rememberred the dream, got out my journal- and the description of the dream room was almost completely accurate.
Now, I don't believe in stuff like that, I'm a cynic, but I've always found dreams to be fascinating because they are still a mystery to scientists. But you have to admit- the coincidence is uncanny!
Anyways, sorry for the rant! This photo just really gripped me, and I thought I might as well share something cool
